It has been an outstanding year for our volunteers.
We have been busy with all aspects required to bring you the best trails possible.
We have been preparing and setting up trails and reroutes, repairing culverts and gates, clearing downed trees and clearing brush. Its all part of getting ready to start off what is shaping up to be a great season.
BUT…
We need more help.
We are stretched thin to begin with, and with the announcement last week that we will be able to reinstate some of the trails that we had been forced to remove from the network we are even worse off now.
We especially need help in the Richmond area.
Richmond is our most vocal area but has habitually had the least amount of people looking to step up and offer a hand.
Over the past few seasons the entire network around Richmond has been looked after by around 5 people.
If you want trails we need your help.
Reach out to me at info@thebeast.ca and I will get you in touch with an appropriate coordinator.
Many hands make light work, and no hands makes no trails.
