Snowmobile trails are groomed to provide a nearly smooth and safer riding surface. This is accomplished by manipulating (moving, flattening, rototilling, or compacting) the snow, on and around the trail, using a snow groomer vehicle.
The Upper Canada District Snowmobile Region has adopted District-Led grooming model and now manages all grooming operations in the district.
