The kickoff meeting for the 2012-2013 season is fast approaching. Once again this year we will be holding a BBQ in appreciation of our volunteers. The BBQ will be held in Jim’s back yard at 1405 on the 7th Line of Beckwith, Carleton Place. Dinner will begin around 6:30 prior to the Season Kick Off Meeting. Again this year regular monthly meetings will be held the first Thursday of each month beginning at 8:00 pm. The first meeting/BBQ is scheduled for Thursday August 2nd. Meetings will typically be held in Jim’s garage with notifications being sent in advance of any location or date changes.
Please let us know if you will be attending no later than Monday July 30th so we can purchase the correct amount of food by either replying to this email with a head count or calling Debbie at (613) 253-5486.
After a much deserved summer break, I am looking forward to seeing as many people as possible. Hopefully you can make it and we can get a good head start on the preparations for the first winter storm!
