Driver Training

Ontario Law requires any person 16 years and over to hold a valid Ontario Driver’s Licence or a Motorized Snow Vehicle Operator’s License to operate a snowmobile on OFSC snowmobile trails. Persons 12 to 15 years old require a Motorized Snow Vehicle Operator’s Licence.DriverTraining

Courses cost approximately $40.00 with an extra fee for lunch (optional). Each student must be present at pre-registration and bring either their passport or produce their birth certificate.

We will be offering two courses this season:

  • 19 November 2016, Beckwith Recreation Complex, 1319 – 9th Line Beckwith, 8:00am – 4:00pm. Registration is 7pm to 8pm, 15 Nov 2016, at the Lackey’s house (1405 7th Line, Beckwith). ** PLEASE TAKE NOTE: There will be NO registration on the day of the course as there is only one instructor. Space is limited to 25 students. This course is complete.
  • 14 January 2017, Beckwith Recreation Complex, 1319 – 9th Line Beckwith, 8:00am – 4:00pm. Registration is 7pm to 8pm, 10 Jan 2017, at the Lackey’s house (1405 7th Line, Beckwith). ** PLEASE TAKE NOTE: There will be NO registration on the day of the course as there is only one instructor. Space is limited to 25 students. We have 17 spots available for this course.

Registration will be on a first come, first served basis.
